These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Career Stump website, Institution Portal and AI career tools (together, the "Service") at careerstump.org. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
- You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. Each account is for one person only.
- You must verify your email address with the one-time code we send before you can sign in.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
- If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent, guardian or your educational institution.
- Every candidate receives a unique Career Stump ID (for example CSAI001) and every onboarded institution an Institution ID (for example CSIN001). These IDs may be shown on certificates and on the public Verify Membership page.
2. cSure Coins, memberships and campus access
- cSure Coins are a prepaid, non-transferable credit used only to unlock AI tools on Career Stump. cSure Coins have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred to another account.
- Each tool shows its cSure Coin cost, access time and number of AI runs before you unlock it. We may change tool prices, but a change never affects a tool you have already unlocked.
- A Membership lets you unlock tools without cSure Coins for the stated period. A new membership bought during an active one starts when the current one ends.
- Campus Membership is provided through your institution. Its seats, free unlocks and validity are set by Career Stump under its agreement with the institution, and access ends when the campus membership expires, is withdrawn or your seat is removed by the institution.
- Payments are processed by our payment partner (Razorpay). We do not store your card, UPI or bank details.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
3. Institutions
- Institutions are onboarded by Career Stump and receive Institution Portal login details by email. The institution is responsible for the accuracy of the student details it adds and confirms it has the right to share them with us for this purpose.
- Membership certificates confirm membership status for the stated period only. They are not an academic qualification or an endorsement of any person's skills.
4. AI-generated content
- The tools use artificial intelligence to analyse the documents and information you provide. Results (scores, feedback, plans, interview questions and introductions) are guidance only and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
- Career Stump does not guarantee any job, interview, admission, salary or placement outcome. Please review all suggestions before using them.
- You are responsible for the content you upload. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or content that is unlawful, offensive or contains another person's personal data without permission.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the Service, including by trying to access other accounts, bypassing cSure Coin or membership limits, scraping, reverse engineering, overloading the system or using automated scripts.
- Do not use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. Where the breach is serious, unused cSure Coins and remaining membership time may be forfeited.
6. Intellectual property
The Career Stump name, logo, website, tools and content belong to the Company or its licensors. You keep ownership of the documents you upload and may use the reports generated for you for your own personal career purposes.
7. Availability and liability
- We work to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change over time.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on AI-generated content.
8. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts where the Company's registered office is located.
